Category:Dumb Fuck of the Year
The Dumbfuck of the Year Awards ("DFotY") is an annual contest run by Reds Rhetoric to rate the dumbest people on G+ in the previous year, with the winner earning the title of "The Dumbfuck of the Year". Ten people are nominated by Red (or a panel of people selected by Red), and voting runs for the month of December, with the winners being announced in early January.
Nominees are required to meet four criteria:
- Have demonstrated stupendous and unwavering idiocy, despite, and in spite of any evidence that would contradict whatever "science" they find indisputably true.
- Are not the victim of a mental disorder. (Rob Beasley was excluded from the 2016 contest on these grounds.)
- Have had at least one one-on-one conversation with Red in a live google hangout. (As of 2017, this rule has changed so that, instead of having to talk to Redline, instead, it is only required "that you speak to at least one of the 10 people [on a panel nominated by Red] who will be nominating people for the award...")
- Are not already a recipient of this coveted award. (We can't have G Man winning every year, now can we?)

Special note: As of Jun 24th, 2017 rumor has it that the leading contenders for the 2018 are: C Brown, Antonio Fletcher, and Betty Van Velsen... but there is plenty of time for someone else to take the lead! Keep fighting for it guys/girls!
